Mr. T. C. Venkat Subramanian, has been appointed as Chairman & Managing Director of Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank). Until this appointment, Mr. Venkat Subramanian was Managing Director and CEO of Exim Bank. He joined Exim Bank of India in 1982 when the Bank was set up. He actively participated in the setting up of EXIM Bank as a model public sector organisation with a professional work culture. Prior to joining EXIM Bank, Mr. Venkat Subramanian had worked in Bank of India and the Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI). Mr. Venkat Subramanian brings to this position diverse experience in industrial and export financing. Mr. Venkat Subramanian is also Chairman of two Exim Bank joint ventures - Global Procurement Consultants Ltd., and Global Trade Finance Pvt. Ltd.
