Legal Group as Managers & Chief Managers
Job description:
A part of the Legal Group in achieving its key result areas by handling transactions with minimal supervision Drafting and vetting of agreements relating to structured finance, SWAPS and loans. Advising on issues under foreign exchange, cross border, banking, securities and property laws. Drafting and vetting of agreement and other documents providing legal services in the negotiating and documentation for the various facilities provided by the Bank including lines of credit to foreign governments and overseas entities.
Resolving issues involving complex, non-routine matters, and mitigate legal risk in the loans provided by the Bank.
Rendering opinions on the various aspects of documentation both for banks lending and resource raising transactions including due diligence of borrowers and lenders, advising the management on the legal aspects of human resources, employment and personnel issues.
Qualification
A university degree in law, preferably at post-graduate level.
Experience & Other Requirements
Candidates presently working with large Public Sector Banks and All India Financial Institutions in the age group of 25 to 35 years as on May 31, 2009, with at least 2 years of post-qualification legal experience for the post of Managers and with atleast 5 years of post-qualification legal experience for the post of Chief Managers, will be considered.
Candidate should possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English and must be able to present and defend complex legal arguments and issues with a high degree of competence.
She/he should be willing to work as a team member with tight deadlines consistently delivering quality output and exhibit confidence and maturity in dealings with both colleagues and clients.
Placement - Salary& perks
Selected candidate will be offered a position in Scale II/ III depending on candidate's current position, with a salary package of Rs. 2.27 - Rs. 3.82 lakhs per annum for Scale II and Rs. 3.51 - Rs. 4.27 lakhs per annum for Scale III. Besides Salary, perks include leave benefits, leave travel facilities, medical coverage, telephone, club membership fees, entertainment allowance, conveyance allowance, residential accommodation as per Bank's norms, pension and gratuity, and many staff welfare facilities such as subsidised lunch and various loans for specific approved purposes.
Reservation
Reservation in posts is applicable as per the Reservation Policy. SC/ST/OBC candidates must clearly mention their status in the application. The upper age limit is relaxable upto a maximum of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
