The Hon’ble Finance Minister presents the Union Budget for the year 2019-20 on July 5, 2019, to the public that is looking forward to more reforms, and to the world at large, which is intently waiting for the Indian growth story to unfold. The Budget shall be a fine balancing act between fiscal prudence and a much-needed stimulus for an ailing economy. Exim Bank’s Masterclass on ‘Impact of Union Budget on Select Sectors’ is an attempt to analyse the various aspects of the Budget and its impact on certain key sectors of the economy and exports.

About the faculty:
Ms. Jahanwi is an economist with the Export-Import Bank of India. She has extensive experience in analysis of international trade, economic policies, and industry dynamics. Her research work has helped provide key policy recommendations to Central and State Governments. She has also worked on institutional capacity building assignments for export finance in several African countries.
Ms. Neha Raman
A young economist with the Export-Import Bank of India, Ms. Neha Raman has worked extensively on trade potential mapping, country risk analysis, and industry insights, and has co-authored articles on contemporary issues in media publications. An expert in debt sustainability analysis, Ms. Neha Raman has provided key inputs in this area to internal and external stakeholders of the Bank.
