The Bank's Research and Analysis Group comprises experienced economists who offers a range of
insights
on aspects of international economics, trade and investments through qualitative and quantitative
research
techniques. The research work carried out in the Group covers a wide range of topics related to
international economic developments, trade and investment, sectoral analysis, global and regional
issues,
state-level export strategy, and policy-related research, among others, which are published in the
form of
Occasional Papers, Working Papers, and Special Publications. These research studies seek to
identify avenues
for enhancing India's international engagements.
In addition to the research publications, the Group also brings out two newsletters: Eximius:
Export
Advantage, and Agri Export Advantage. Besides this, the Group provides regular inputs to the
Central and
State Governments on various policy related issues, debt sustainability aspects of loan recipient
countries,
macro-economic issues, and inputs for negotiations of Free Trade Agreements with partner
countries.
Eximius Agri Export Advantage, a bi-monthly newsletter, published in 12
Indian languages provides stakeholders of Indian agri-business with updates on global market
scenario of agri-commodities, prospective areas of agribusiness, agricultural trade and
policies in India, regulatory issues in international trade, Government schemes and
assistance, latest news related to the agriculture sector and technological developments in
the agriculture sector. The revamped design of the newsletter also includes infographics on
topics such as trade scenario in important agri-commodities and India's agricultural trade
scenario with existing and potential FTA partner countries.
